Introducing MWG Board of Advisors member, Dan Magy!
Dan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Firestorm, a San Diego-based startup focused on developing autonomous, low-cost drones for combat and ISR applications. These include UAVs such as the Tempest and El Niño, and are produced “using distributed additive manufacturing, allowing for rapid and cost-effective production compared to traditional methods.” Dan believes that startups should align their developments with military needs for faster, scalable production, and is a strong advocate for innovation in the defense sector.
Dan has experience across the entrepreneurship, strategy, and defense fields, and previously founded Citadel Defense (acquired by Blue Halo) and co-founded Elevate Dynamics. He is also a Partner at Beyond Capital and has served as Chief Strategy Advisor for Bonsai Robotics. Prior to this, Dan studied at The London School of Economics and UCLA.
